Together we can make a difference . . .

Regenerate Australia is the WWF’s bold vision to not only rehabilitate and restore wildlife and their habitats, but to future-proof Australia against future climate disaster.

The bushfire tragedy of 2019-20 and devastating 2022 floods, have united us all as a nation. Together, we’ve watched, horrified, as iconic landscapes were destroyed, driving wildlife from their homes, injuring and orphaning those that survived.

We’ve watched firefighters battling insurmountable odds. We’ve watched vets, wildlife carers, emergency workers and volunteers working tirelessly, around the clock, to save our wildlife, our homes and our bushland. Their courage, compassion and dedication has highlighted the very nature of what it means to be Australian.

And we couldn’t have done it without our overseas supporters too. We saw firefighters flooding into our airports from all over the world to help us fight the good fight. We have seen the generosity of so many to donate from their hearts to help our animals and offer what they had to assist strangers who had lost so much.

Here in Shabby Shac Studio, we are passionate about our beautiful country and unique flora and fauna. With your support, we pledge to increase our donations and expand our adoption program. Please join us in making a difference.

  • We Adopted a Platypus!

Many Australian animals are unique, however this shy little fellow takes the cake! Although the Platypus is a mammal, they lay eggs and display a bill and flippers - an amazing evolutionary feat!

With ever increasing climate stress, new dams, the over-extraction of water from rivers, land-clearing, attacks by foxes and wild dogs, pollution and suburban sprawl, the humble platypus is now under threat of extinction.

By adopting this little guy, we are helping to research and monitor their population across the eastern states and implement a unique rewilding program to reintroduce healthy platypus back into Sydney's Royal National Park

With the support of our wonderful customers (you), we will bring back vital populations from the brink of extinction and ensure local ecosystems remain healthy.

With your support, we pledge to increase our donations and expand our adoption program. Please join us in making a difference.

  • How much can a Koala Bare?

The Australian Government has now officially listed the Koala as an endangered species in Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory

Koalas are a symbol of Australia and these sleepy, branch-hugging marsupials are dependent on trees for food and shelter. However, with a record number of trees bulldozed across Australia each day, the threat from deadly disease and the devastating effects of climate disasters, they urgently need our help!

With your continued support, we look forward to expanding our Adoption Program to include this iconic Australian animal.

  • No Tree, No Me!

Our native forests are home to some of the most unique wildlife and plants on Earth, but the Australian bush has never been under more pressure

An estimated 500,000 hectares of native forests and woodlands are bulldozed every year. Bushfire season can be catastrophic, with the 2019-20 fires alone burning 12.6 million hectares of forest and bushland

Without urgent action, an estimated 750 million native animals who rely on trees for survival, will die by 2030.

Help us ‘Adopt a Tree’ to protect a lifesaving source of food and shelter for our native wildlife. By supporting this program, together we will put pressure on governments to stop excessive deforestation, safeguarding our planet for future generations to come
